C -- ARCHITECT-ENGINEER (A-E) SERVICES FOR DESIGN OF INDEFINITE DELIVERY/INDEFINITE QUANTITY (OPEN-END) ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN CONTRACT Sol F16602-95-R0016. Due 070595. An indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (open-end) architectural design contract will be issued for a period of one year with a one year option period. The cumulative amount of delivery orders will not exceed $750,000 for the basic year and $750,000 for the option year. Delivery orders will be issued from time to time as the need arises during the contract period. A minimum of $5,000 in fee work will be issued during the contract period. Design services required will be primarily architectural related projects including preparations of drawings and specifications to meet all of the most current regulations. The services are required for design of repair, renovation and minor construction projects including preparation of drawings and specifications. Various types of inspections, studies, reports, economic analysis and cost estimates maybe required as they relate to project design. Designs may need to include provisions for asbestos removal. Fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity A-E contract will be used. Significant evaluation factors in order of relative importance are as follows: (A) Experience (B) Capability (C) Workload (D) Location (E) Prior DOd Awards (F) Dollar Value of Prior DOD Awards (G) Number of DOD projects during the current and previous three years. Specifications and other reports, when requested, must be provided in hard copy and on 3.5 inch high density IBM format diskette using a word processor that can be translated by Microsoft Word version 6.0 for Windows (CSI format). Firms should describe their computer/word processing capabilities in their subittals. Drawings, when requested must be provided in AutoCAD format. The first delivery order for this open-end may exceed $299,000. Firms desiring consideration shall submit appropriate data as described in numbered Note 24. This is not a request for proposal.
