marketing service (DRMS) will conduct a Contracting symposium on
October 11 and 12, 1995. The symposium will be Held at headquarters,
Defense Reutilization and marketing service, 74 N. Washington Avenue,
Battle Creek, MI 49017-3092. The symposium will be Held in the Palm
Garden room. Registration will open at 8:00 a.M. On October 11th. The
first half of the first Day is intended for prospective contractors who
have not performed on a DRMS hazardous waste disposal contract. The
regular symposium will begin at 12:30 P.M. On October 11thand run until
4:00 P.M. Tentative agenda items for the afternoon of October 11th will
include unfinished process action team (Pat) business from the 1994
symposium and small business issues. On October 12th, the hours of the
symposium are scheduled from 8:30 a.M. Until 2:00 P.M. Tentative
agenda items scheduled to be discussed on October 12th include
implementation of the FAC 90-26 final rule (best value) and the impact
of the Federal acquisition streamlining act of 1994 (fasa) on DRMS
hazardous waste disposalcontracting. DRMS hereby solicits input from
the hazardous waste disposal industry for other agenda topics. Please
indicate in your response your willingness to speak on the proposed
topic. Submit your proposed agenda items via letter, facsimile or

a maximum of three Persons per organization. Minutes generated from the
1995 symposium will be provided to all interested parties upon written
