Project consists of crushing and stockpiling approximately 99,000 tons of aggregate from six selected pits located on the Ottawa National Forest in Baraga, Gogebic, Iron, and Ontonagon Counties, Michigan. Work includes clearing stockpile sites, crushing aggregate to Michigan Department of State Highways and Transportation designation 22A, sampling and testing, stockpiling, resloping and grading pit areas, and digging test holes to determine future potential. Contract time will be 180 calendar days. Project is 100 percent set-aside for small businesses. (136)
