A Pre-proposals Conference will take place on June 7, 1995 at 9:00 A.M. at 130 Livingston St., 6th Floor Conf. Room, Brooklyn, New York. A site tour will follow at 10:30 A.M. local time starting at 130 Livingston Street. Transportation will be provided to the East New York & 126th St. Depots. Prospective proposers who desire to attend shall notify V. Squitieri (718) 694-3376 no later than Noon on June 6, 1995. The Authority will consider the following criteria in evaluating proposals. 1. Proposer's experience and expertise in designing, furnishing, and installing an Automatic Vehicle Location and Control System. 2. Experience and expertise of the individuals assigned by the contractor to work on the design, furnishing, and installing an Automatic Vehicle Location and Control System. 3. Cost of the design, furnishing, and installing of an Automatic Vehicle Location and Control System. 4. Quality and thoroughness of the proposer's written methodology and Oral Presentations for the design, furnishing, and installing an Automatic Vehicle Location and Control System (AVLC). The evaluation criterion addressing Overall Project Cost and the criterion addressing Technical Qualifications are considered the predominant factors and are of equal importance. To ensure consideration, proposals should be complete and contain all the information required by this RFP, including information needed to assess the evaluation criteria described herein. Bid documents may be obtained at 130 Livingston St. Rm 160 Bklyn, New York from 9 AM to 5 PM Mon-Fri except holidays. Requests can be made in writing, in person but not by telephone. Each request must be accompanied by a company or bank check for the following amount: $125.00 for each set of specifications and the associated drawings. The price of the RFP is non-refundable.
