Request copies in writing or by facsimile (908) 323-2165. Engineering Services to support requirements for all Air Acoustic Signal Processing operational software. This support specifically targets the acoustic signal processing software used in P-3C Update III CHEX, S-3B WSIP and SH-60B & G platforms. The software supported may execute on the AN/UYS-1, AN/USQ-78A, AN/UYS-2, a future Navy Signal Processor or any combination thereof. The acoustic software provides those platforms with the ability to process all current sonobuoy types (i.e., LOFAR, DIFAR, DICASS, ANM, BT, and VLAD) for ASW contact prosecution. These improvements provide the capability to detect, localize and attack the quieter submarine threats facing the U.S. Navy into the 21st century. This contract will also support the development of prototype software on various hardware configurations such as Sun Micro Computers, IBM RISCs, and Hewlett Packard work stations used in the development of the air operational concepts and tactical use of the developed software products. The Government contemplates award of a cost-plus-fixed-fee completion type contract. Period of Performance 60 months. Acquisition to be processed through full and competition. Non-setaside. (0137)
