The bank stabilization will be approximately 6750 tons of rock fill. No access channel dredging will be permitted. Work must be completed by September 30, 1995 because the work site is in a wildlife refuge area that will be closed to boat access on October 1, 1995. This procurement is issued unrestricted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program (P.L. 100-656). SIC Code - 1629, the Small Business Size Standard is $17 million. The estimated magnitude of construction in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Plans and specifications are expected to be available approximately June 15, 1995 with bid opening on or about July 18, 1995.
