First Articles will be required. Production lead time is 12 months. A SECRET facility clearance is required and therefore you are requested to provide a Cage Code with your request. Because this solicitation contains data not releasable to Foreign Nationals; Foreign Owned Controlled or Influenced (FOCI) companies; or U.S. citizens employed by FOCI companies; only U.S. industry may participate in this solicitation. The AN/UAS-12C Night Sight Equipment Set, APN 13265253, is a lightweight, passive infrared imaging system. The system uses mechanical scan principles to optically scan a rectangular field of view. An array of infrared detectors are cooled to obtain proper detector sensitivity. The cooled detectors transduce the infrared radiation received by the optical system into electrical signals. These electrical signals, after amplification and processing, are used to produce a visible image on a display, and provide tracking signals to the TOW Weapon System. Only companies with the capability to perform the required work, and with serious intention to submit a proposal, should request this solicitation.
