The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Purchase Branch Philadelphia, intends to purchase 14 each Shipboard Fuel Dilution Meters, with an option for an additional quantity of 12 each. The Shipboard Fuel Dilution Meter is used to measure the concentration of engine fuels, in a semi-automated manner, dissolved in a special diesel lubricant aboard minesweeping ships in the U.S. Navy. The Fuel Dilution Meter is to be a bench top meter, designed to measure fuel contamination accurately in lubricant samples by sensing the fuel vapor level in the closed air space above a test sample.
