superseded by new RFP DNA001-94-R-0044, same title, due to changes in
government requirements. RFP DNA001-95-R-0036 (CBD Issue No. PSA-1320,
Synopsis 0095, 7 Apr 1995), and issued 28 Apr 1995 (CBD Issue No.
PSA-1335, Synopsis 0116), is cancelled. The following revised synopsis
for RFP DNA001-95-R-0044, is as follows: Attn: This procurement is to
be made in accordance with DFARS Subpart 235.70, Research and
Development Streamlined Contracting Procedures. Offerors are advised
that a conventional solicitation will NOT be issued but that the
solicitation will appear in a subsequent edition of the Commerce
Business Daily (CBD). The Defense Nuclear Agency (DNA) is seeking a
cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide experiment and analysis support
of the Enhanced Payload Program. Support activities shall include:
experiment planning and analysis, execution of laboratory and scaled
experiments, and field test support. Pheonomenology of interest
includes the effects of special incendiaries and other energetic
material ignitions in buried hardened targets, the response of target
components and facilities equipment to thermal and contaminant material
environments, dispersion and propagation of thermal and contaminant
effects through extended structures and tunnels. The technical period
of performance is forth-five months. All contractor personnel will
require a DoD security clearance of SECRET-RD. Offerors must provide
address information to the contract negotiator in order to be included
on the mailing list in case any supplemental package and/or amendments
are issued to the solicitation which will appear in a subsequesnt
edition of the Commerce Business Daily (CBD). Address information must
be in writing. NOTE, if your company provided address information
previously in response to synopsis or solicitation of RFP
DNA001-95-R-0036, a new submission is NOT necessary. Faxes are
