201-724-7153. The U.S. Army Armament Research, Development and
Engineering Center along with the American Defense Preparedness
Association is holding a International Cannon Artillery Firepower

Great Gorge, McAfee, NJ, June 20 and 21 1995. The symposium will
examine the future role of artillery which will be dramatically
enhanced by its digitization and integration into the information
highway. We continue to improve lethality, increase range, fire rates
and accuracy. Digitization will now offer quantum improvements to our
communications around the battlefield and link the shooter to the
target almost instantly. Orders of magnitude enhancements are now
possible in the areas of target acquisition and prioritization
firepower on targets, accurate damage assessments, and sustainment
through state of the art resupply. This symposium will explore the many
developments here and abroad which will ensure artillery to be the
weapon of the future. In addition to formal briefings, the symposium
will give attendees the opportunity to network with representatives
from participating countries, other government agencies and contracting
representatives. The symposium is unclassified, international and joint
service in its scope. Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0611 19950519\SP-0002.MSC)
