DOD is soliciting interested industry participants for the review of the draft MIL-STD-188-ATM standard which is based on coordinated DOD interoperability requirements. This draft standard, which is a profile of ATM standards, addresses the standardization of digital hierarchies, multiplexing structures, switching, and interfaces for broadband signals. It is emphasized that this draft standard uses commercial standards as base standards.
