Mobley, Phone (703)604-6100 Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue an order on behalf of the Spanish Air force (SAF) under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-94-G-0086 for multiple-user access to the F/A-18 Post-Production Technical Requirements Information Matrix (TRIM). NAVAIR intends to negotiate this procurement with McDonnell Douglas Aerospace (MDA), P.O. Box 516, St. Louis, MO 63166-0516, the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the F/A-18 aircraft. MDA is the only known firm possessing the technical knowledge, expertise, and detailed familiarity with the design and modifications of the F/A-18 that is required to provide the requiring activity with timely development and integration of the required services and supplies.
