Affairs intends to procure wood poles and crossarms for the San Carlos
Irrigation Project (SCIP) at Coolidge, Pinal County, Arizona. This
procurement consists of wood pole, power line service, douglas fir in
accordance with ANSI 05.1 - 1987, and Wood Preservative Association
C4-88, and in strict conformance with the latest issue and addenda of
the applicable codes, standards, regulation procedures and test. Poles
to be full length pressure treated with pentachlorophenol, 8 pound
minimum, and undrilled. The poles shall be in the following lengths,
class and quantities: (1) 100 - 35 feet in length, Class 2, and (2) 800
- 40 feet in length, Class 2. Crossarms, wood power line service,
douglas fir, to comply with EEI specifications TD-90 pentachlorophenol
dipped, S45, drilled in with SCIP Form 54. The crossarms shall be in
the following length and quantity: 500 each at 3-3/4'' x 4-3/4'' x 8''.
The products shall be delivered to SCIP, O&M yard, two miles of
Coolidge, AZ on Highway 287, in the various quantities and deliveries
as follows: (1) First delivery shall consist of 100 - 35 feet poles,
200 - 40 feet poles, and 250 crossarms within 60 calendar days after
award of contract; (2) Second delivery shall consist of 200 - 40 feet
poles and 250 crossarms within 90 calendar days after award of
contract; (3) Third delivery shall consist of 200 - 40 feet poles
within 120 calendar days after award of contract, and (4) Last delivery
shall consist of 200 - 40 feet poles within 150 calendar days after
award of contract. The solicitation will be available within 15 days
after published in the CBD. No telephone requests. Only written or
faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. Fax

nor principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended,
debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal
agency. See Note 1. The small business size standard is 500 employees.
