This public notice is to request suppliers to provide NTT with general referential information on similar products or technology prior to procurement of the intended product (mentioned below) by NTT. This public notice is also to request that any suppliers wishing to participate as a subcontractor in the procurement program of this product should declare their intentions to that effect. (2) Overview: Applicants are requested to supply with following information on an Handy Personal Computer. (i) Adoption of Liquid Crystal technology (ii) Utilization method as a wireless terminal with PHS (Personal Handyphone) or similar systems (iii) Adoption of compact and light-weight technologies. (3) Contents of RFI: Applicants are requested to supply NTT with the following information on similar products, or on technology relating to the product mentioned above.
