The Defense Information Technology Contracting Office(DITCO), Scott AFB, IL, will procure through an electronic bulletin board, the Information TechnologyAcquisition Bulletin Board System (ITABBS), hardware maintenance to cover labor, tools, parts, materialsand transportation to provide preventive/remedial maintenance on government owned TANDEMequipment for the period 01 Oct 95 through 30 Sep 96 to Defense Meagcenter Sacramento, 4300 54thStreet, McClellan AFB, CA 95652. The anticipated RFP release date is 09 Jun 95 with proposals expectedto be due on 11 Jul 95. Vendor proposals in response to this RFP must be received in hard copy. Vendorswill be able to dial into the electronic ITABBS, and download the RFP, check the status of the RFP, submitquestions, receive amendments and other RFP related correspondence. All responsible sources may submita proposal which shall be considered. Information from the electronic bulletin board system will either bein ASCII or Microsoft Word for Windows 2.0 format. RFPs are usually a compressed (PKZIP) MS Wordfile requiring you to have compatible software to extract the file. The ITABBS can be accessed by any FIPvendor through standard hardware and software. To access ITABBS, the necessary communicationsparameters are 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit, with modem speeds of 1.2 - 14.4 KBPS.
