NASA Lewis Research Center intends to contract with Cleveland State University for the replacement of an existing Laboratory Information System. This originated from an unsolicited proposal submitted to NASA Lewis by Cleveland State University. A Laboratory Information System will be developed through the use of a Windows user interface, database software tools, and direct interfacing to analytical instrumentation.
