CH2M Hill under its ARCSWEST contract No. 68-W9-0031 with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is soliciting interested parties to provide onshore drilling services at the Wyckoff Operable Unit at the Wyckoff/Eagle Harbor Superfund site on Bainbridge Island in Kitsap County, Washington. Approximately 50 - 100 soil borings will be drilled to a total depth of 5 feet below ground surface (bgs). California liner samples will be collected at approximately 5 to 7 feet bgs for each boring. Approximately 12 monitoring wells are planned. To minimize contamination carry-down during drilling, the cable tool method of drilling shall be used. Total drilling depth will range from 60 to 110 feet bgs. California liner samples will be collected as specified from zero to total depth bgs on a continuous basis. The monitoring wells shall be constructed of 4-inch 304 stainless steel casings with welded wire wound screens. All wells shall be developed by alternately surging and bailing after construction to remove turbidity created by the drilling and construction process. (138)
