The following modifies the set-aside status of this project as previously published on 26 Apr 95. Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, equipment, materials, transportation, supervision, and all else necessary to remove existing paint or other floor covering by shotblasting; prepare surfaces; reseal joints; fill cracks; repair spalls; and apply new chemically resistant urethane (CRU) coating and striping as specified, at Nellis AFB NV. The performance period is for a basic one year period with an option to extend two additional years. The minimum project amount that may be ordered is $20,000; the guarenteed amount is $40,000 for the basic period and $20,000 for each of the option years. Delivery orders may be issued consecutively or concurrently up to the maximum annual amount of $300,000. The applicable SIC for this acquisition is 1799 with a three year average annual small business size standard of $7 million. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office above evidence of capability to successfully perform 25% of the work with their own labor forces (include complete references of past performance for similar work), bonding and financial capacity, and a positive statement of eligibility as a small, socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. SDB concerns who have previously requested this solicitation must provide the above information by the specified date. Evaluation of the responses received will be based solely on the information received by closing date. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted, without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns as well as SDB concerns. Availability of the solicitation is limited and will be issued on a first come, first served basis to the extent available. Only written requests (FAX acceptable), received directly from the requestor on company letterhead, will be accepted.
