The purpose of this project is to increase the reliability and standrize the primary electrical distribution system at Wilford Hall Medical Center (WHMC). To accomplish the objective, the existing 13.8KV to 4.16KV step-down transformers, 5KV metal-enclosed fused switches, and associated 5KV feeders will be replaced. The size of the new transformers and associated substations will be increased to match new load requirements. Estimated Cost Range: $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 - - Bid sets available at $19.55 for half-size and $26.05 for full-size. No individual sheets of half-size drawings may be purchased.
