Scope of work consists of but is not strictly limited to providing all labor, material, equipment and supervision as necessary to build out new Courtroom floor and Judicial Chambers, approximately 6300 square feet, in the Federal Building & US Courthouse, New Albany, Indiana. The work will include new plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work. Plumbing will involve relocating and installing new piping for a new toilet room and kitchen sink. Electrical work will include installing new distribution panels, conduit and wiring for power, data and communications to designated locations within the space. HVAC work will include installing a new air handling unit to serve the Courtroom that will be located in the basement directly beneath the new Judicial Chambers. Other HVAC work will involve reworking existing perimeter hot and cold water piping, existing ductwork, and existing window fan coil units. The work will also include new partitions, lay-in ceilings, carpet and tile flooring. Wall finishes will be fabric, paint and wood panels. Install new casework, including a judicial bench, courtroom seating, built-in cabinets, and bookcases as part of this project. The completion time for this project is Two-Hundred-Forty (240) calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed. Estimated cost range is between $100,000.00 and $500,000.00. Specifications will be available on or about June 12, 1995. Sealed bids will be opened publicly on July 12, 1995, at 2:00 P.M. (local time). The proposed contract is being solicited on a total Small Business Set-Aside basis. Bids are solicited only from small business concerns. Bids received from concerns that are not small business concerns shall be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected. Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1542 with an average gross revenue of $17 million for the last three (3) years.
