Scope of work consists of but is not strictly limited providing all labor, material, equipment and supervision as necessary for the installation of control overlay to eliminate supervisory relay logic to reduce extended door times, eliminate unnecesary terminal stops and improve overall service for passenger elevators 1-4, and 2 banks of 2 cars. Remove DC exciter and replace with a diode power pack mounted on controler above motor-generated set. This will provide 2240V DC control supply & eliminate obsolete rotating exciter. Replace B-3 interlocks with electro-mechanical interlock. Replace existing door operator with unit designed to adapt to westinghouse controls. Install door restricter. Retain hall door tracks & adapt to new interlocks. Install sill mounted spring closures to close hoistway doors. Replace existing hall call buttons with industry standard. To verify controller mods comply with requirements of specifications. Readjust motor controls. Include complete systems-check & full load safety & buffer tests. Note: Consider basement as home landing. The completion time for this project is one hundred forty one (141) calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed. Estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1542 with an average gross revenue of $17 million for the last three (3) years. Funds are not available for the project at this time. Specifications will be available on or about June 15, 1995. The proposed contract is being solicited on a total Small Business Set-Aside basis.
