Work will be accomplished in two phases. In Phase I, remove and replace
the Arm/De-Arm pavement (approximately 11,700 SY) and selectively
remove and replace approximately 950 SY of cracked PCC pavement at the
north end of the taxiway. In Phase II, selectively remove and replace
approximately 11,230 SY of cracked PCC pavement along Taxiway A from
Alpha Ramp to the end of Echo Ramp. Pavement of the Arm/De-Arm pad
shall be PCC over free-draining base course. Asphalt concrete shoulder
pavement will be required to be removed and replaced in order to
construct a full-depth pavement section for the Arm/De-Arm pad. Plans
and specs available on or about 15 Aug 95 at no charge per set. No
individual sheets are available. Documents will be issued on a first
come, first served basis until supply is exhausted. No phone requests
accepted. Refer to IFB Number DACA67-95-B-0073 when ordering. Requests
must be in writing and must be received before bid documents will be
mailed. Requests may be FAXed to (206)764-6817, confirmation copy need
not be mailed. Plans and specs may be picked up from the Plans Room
Monday thru Friday between the hours of 7:30 A.M. and 3:30 P.M. Submit
requests by 8 Aug 95. Estimated dollar value is in the range of
$1,000,000 to $5,000,000 and completion period is 180 days. Standard
Industrial Classification Code 1771. Project is open to both large and
small business. If you are a large business and your bid will exceed
$1,000,000.00, you will be required to submit a subcontracting plan.
