qualified sources: Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc. and Lord Corporation
- FOB Origin with delivery of 202 pieces to Texarkana, TX. Required
delivery is 180 days ARO. Authority and Justification is 10 U.S.C.
2304(c)(1). The proposed contract action is for supplies which can not
be procured through full and open because the authority cited states
only one responsible source or only a limited number of responsible
sources and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements, FAR
6.302-1. This is a Safety of Flight item requiring source approval of
any prospective contractors. The Army Maintenance Management
System-Aviation will be a contract requirement. Firms that recognize
and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to
identify themselves to the Contracting Officer to initiate the source
approval process. Approved sources may participate in the current or
future procurement actions. This requirement is anticipated to be
awarded via delivery order to an existing Basic Ordering Agreement. See
