International Airport, the government of Mauritius plans to invest an
estimated US dols 87 million in the extension of the passenger
terminal, the Airport runway and apron in addition, the mauritian
authorlties will set up a new area control center with a view to
improving air traffic management the cost of this project is estimated
at US dols 15 million tenders for the appointment of a consultant for
the design of the building and supply and installation of equipment

which is responsible for this project, is hoping that the government of

so that construction can actually start durlng the fiscal year 1996/97
according to the Civil Aviation Department, the project will take 20
months to be completed for additional information on the new area
