Spec MM-L-751, 9 of the 21 NSNS are treated I/a/W AWPA STD C2. Plywood, softwood/osb, 14 NSNS, various grades and sizes, I/a/W CID a-a-55057. This Solicitation is for a requirements type contract with a basic contract period of one year. Delivery orders will be issued using electronic data interchange (EDI). Contract quantities are estimated at 596,000 Board feet for untreated lumber, 429,600 Board feet for treated lumber, and 43,076 Sheets for plywood. Delivery will be F.O.B. Destination to Ft. Bragg and cherrypoint, NC, and may also include other near-by locations. Required delivery schedule after receipt of orders will include 30 days or less for truck load sizes, 10 days or less for unit/less than unit sizes, and one Day foremergencies of unit/less than unit sizes. This is an unrestricted acquisition with a 10% preference for SDB concerns. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award may be based upon a combination of price and other evaluation factors (including past performance and schedule compliance) as described in the Solicitation. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the Government. The total extension shall not exceed 5 years.
