System shall be an electronic alarm system for monitoring nursing home residents. This system shall have the following characteristics: tag system capable of being placed anywhere on the body; tag system shall be capable of identifying a particular resident; tags shall have a long battery life; alarm shut off at the exit, and centrally at nurse's station; alarm system will activate (audibly) only at nurse's station where patient is a resident; alarm must have capability to be easily disabled when needed; capability to operate on outside gate(s); capability to magnetically lock alarmed dooes, and ability to connect to main security system for monitoring after regular duty hours. SIC Code 3845 shall apply. Request for proposal will be issued on or about 6/12/95.
