The work shall consist of but not limited to furnishing all plant, labor and material in performing all operations in connection with the construction, demolition, and replacement of existing electrical distribution in Military Family Housing (MFH). Remove approximately 20,000 feet of overhead 13,800/7,970 volt electrical distribution system and provide new underground electrical distribution system. This is a firm-fixed price contract. The estimated cost of construction is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The performance period will be 180 days. This action is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible, but no later than 12 Jun 95. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. Only mail or facsimile requests for bid packages will be accepted.
