Dyn McDermott Petroleum Operations Company (DM), prime contractor for the Department of Energy (DOE), Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) in New Orleans, LA is seeking potential sources for Commercial and Public Domain Software. This is a notice to determine sources for software products which can be used in support of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve Environmental Safety and Health Management Information System (SEMIS), as required for the Strategic Petroleum Reserve for the Department of Energy. SEMIS provides for the integration of information usewd in support of the Environmental Safety & Health operations. SEMIS will consist of a relational database management system (in ORACLE) to provide information in support of Compliance Management, Fire Protection, Environmental Data Management, Hazardous Materials, Personnel Records, Training Records, Systems Safety, Emergency Response, Safety Data and Simulated Data functions within the ES&H Directorate. DM is seeking commercially available software, or public domain software to support the information requirements for the above functions. Software must provide for information input, storage, analysis, searching, tracking, reporting, planning, and modeling. SEMIS will be required to interface with a number of internal and external information repositories, including the Engineering Information System (EIS), the Graphical Readiness Integrated Drawdown System (GRIDS), the Master Action Tracking System (MATS), the Hazard Action Tracking System (HATS), the Training Management System (ON TRACK), and various simulationa models. External repositories may include information from a wide variety of Federal, State and local agencies. The software products will operate in a clinet server environment. This is not a request for proposal.
