A -- MLRS SMART TACTICAL ROCKET (MSTAR) POC: Jessica Jackson (205) 876-4270. MLRS Smart Tactical Rocket (MSTAR). A draft of the Operational Requirements Document (ORD) for the MLRS Smart Tactical Rocket (MSTAR) is currently available for review. The draft ORD will be made available to the industry for comments and recommendations concerning technical and cost trade-offs that may be useful in refining the Army requirement. MSTAR will be a tactical rocket for MLRS with a robust warhead carrying smart, general purpose submunitions which are effective against a wide variety of high value targets to include counterfire, air defense, and maneuver. Any desired response to the offering must be made at no cost to the Government. Members of the industrial community who poseess a SECRET DOD clearance and desire a copy of the draft ORD for review should provide a written request to the U.S. Army Missile Command, ATTN: AMSMI-RD-TI, Jessica Jackson, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5243, phone (205) 876-4270, within SEVEN days after the publication of this notice. The request will contain a current or recent DOD contract number, the requestor's CAGE Code, and the name and phone number of the indicated herein waives any obligation of the Government to subsequently provide this document until after its approval.
