Gresham, OR 97030 F -- GROW NATIVE GRASS Sol R6-6-95-382. Due 070595. POC Contracting
Section, 503/666-0621. This solicitation requires services for the
provision of all acreage, labor, supervision, equipment and supplies
necessary to produce three (3) native grass species and one (1) native
pea family seed; 8,400 lbs Columbia brome (Bromus Vulgaris), 8,400 lbs
Blue Wildrye (Elymus Glaucus), 8,400 lbs Western Fescue (Festuca
Occidentalis) and 2,800 lbs Leafy Pea (Lathyrus Polyphyllus). Contract
amounts specified above are subject to change on a yearly basis and
government shall notify contractor of the amounts required, by
September 1, of the year preceding the contract requested amounts. The
contractor growing facility must be located within the State of Oregon
or within southwestern Washington. Grass seed shall be de-awned and
leafy pea seed shall be removed from outer shell. The contract time
will be for the base year with options to renew for an additional four
(4) years. Location of this project is on the Clackamas Ranger
District of the Mt Hood National Forest, Oregon. This project is not
set-aside for small business. Desired start work date is July 15, 1995.
