This project is to release young regeneration units (conifer plantations) from competing vegetation by manually cutting the competing vegetation on approximately 307 acres. Chainsaws and/or brushcutters are the normal tools for this work. Contract time: 68 calendar days. This is a requirements type contract. Work is to be performed for the Ukonom Ranger District, Klamath National Forest, Siskiyou County, California. Date for receipt of bids has not been established, but is estimated to be in mid July 1995. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. (142)
