J -- SUPPORT TO THE MK92 MOD 1 FIRE CONTROL SYSTEM SOL DTCG80-95-B-3FA700 POC Mildred Anderson, Contract Specialist, 212 668-6475 Vanessa A. Nemara, Contracting Officer, 212 668-3455. This is a Pre-solicitation Sources Sought Synopsis issued to identify sources capable of providing necessary support services to the Mark 92 Mod 1 Fire Control System. It is anticipated that the contract will be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract with a minimum of 8 grooms per year. The contract will inlcude potential corrective maintenance during the groom period. Inconus and outconus responses to fifthteen (15) vessel Class WMEC and WHEC in the MLCLANT are of operations may be required with responses times of not longer than 24 hours and 48 hours respectively. Minimum requirements: Bidder must posses a SECRET CLEARANCE during all phases of the procurement process from bidding to the contract closeout. Secret clearance must have been obtained through the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The company and the individuals expressly performing work under this contract must posses a secret clearance. The names of the individuals must be provided for verification. (2) Sources must posses as a minimum: a0 Mark 92 Class (C) military school; or b) house Unisyss defense system Mark 92 Training ; or c) Inhouse MK92 Training at NWSC POrt Hueneme and 3) 3 years minimum experience in Mark 92 system. Sources must demstrate their ability to meet the above requirements to potentially be considered issuance of a solicitation. Simply requesting a solicitation is not sufficient. This is a sources sought synopsis fort information and planning purposes only and does not constitute an invitation for bis (IFB) or a request for proposal (RFP) and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Potential sources are requested to submit a letter of interest and capability, along with any available brochures and other descriptive literature to Commander, U.S. Coast Guard Maintenance & Logistics Command Atlantic (vpl-1), Building 400, Section M, Governors Island, NY 10004-5085 by 20 June 1995. All responsible sources will be considered by the U.S. Coast Guard. (0143)
