Provide Readjustment Counseling Services to eligible veterans referred by our Vet Center Staff Members or other professional staff members of the VA Medical Center, New Orleans, Louisiana. Offers interested providing Readjustment Counseling Services must be located in the following parishes of the State of Loisiana: East and West Feliciana, Assumption, LaFourche, St Helena, St James, St John, St Mary, Tangipahoa, Terreborne, and Washington Parishes. Readjustment counseling for the purpose of this solicitation is provided by Social Workers, Psychologists, Psychiatrists or other counselors. Professionals under this contract will focus on social, psychological and behavior problems of readjustment from military duty during the Vietnam/Era and in post Vietnam era combat zones to civilian life. Modalities or readjustment counseling may include individual, group, and/or family counseling. Primary goal is to address issues related to the military experience as a result of service during the Vietnam/Era and in post Vietnam ear combat zones.
