The U.S. Postal Service is seeking vendors who have previously submitted either proposals resulting in contract awards or unsuccessful offers in response to our requirements for parts exceeding $1M or for equipment exceeding $10M, to participate in the 1995 USPS Logistics Support Symposia. The purpose of the symposia is to provide a forum for information exchange promoting a better understanding of USPS/Vendor logistics support expectations. Goals include: facilitating understanding of USPS acquisition logistics; improving life cycle support; exploring alternative logistics approaches which will allow for proposals which optimize equipment performance at equally optimum costs; and increasing vendor/USPS communication. Symposia fee is a flat $350 per person (two person limit per vendor) and is all inclusive of lodging, meals, receptions and materials. Interested parties are urged to contact Charles W.
