PRESOLICITATION NOTICE - The work includes renovation of four (4) Storage Facilities, a new 15' x 15' fully enclosed Hazardous Waste Facility (HWF) will be built at the SRA site, a retention basin at site 628 and a structural retaining wall and swale at site 547. New metal roof canopies will be installed at 511, 2003 & 538, at building 545, an existing PWC HWF, the floor will be re-coated, the berms will be cut down, the office building will be repainted, the exterior tarpaulin will be replaced, the overhead lighting will be replaced and more outlets will be added in the office area. Pedestal mounted fire pull stations will be installed at 545, 538, and the SRA site and incidental related work, complete and ready for use.--The estimated cost is between $250,000 and $500,000.--Firm Fixed Price Contract.--Contract duration is approximately 120 calendar days.--This proposed contract is tentatively 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB).--The Standard Industrial Code is 1541 and the annual size standard is $17 million.--SDB General Contractors must respond in writing no later than 15 days after publication of this advertisement in the CBD.--The written response shall provide the following information: the IFB number N68711-95-B-7534, the firms complete name, address, and phone number, including area code, bonding limitation, capacity, and current availability, the firm's dollar limit for bid guarantee/performance guarantee capacity, provide a minimum of three references with same or similar type work that is currently in progress, or that has been successfully completed.--Lack of detailed responses to the above requested information may result in this solicitation being issued unrestricted.--Tentative issued date on or about 23 JUN 1995 with an opening date of approximately 30 days later (NOTE: BOD stated above is TENTATIVE).
