Correnti, 215/656-6152 Design-build replacement of an existing 1231 KW (350 ton) chiller with a new 1055 KW (300 ton) chiller and retrofit of an existing 1055 (350 ton) chiller. Also, replacement of piping, replacement of components and renovations of mechanical room to meet recent American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, Air conditioning and Engineers (ASHRAE). The service is to be provided at the Poff Federal Building, 210 Franklin Rdoad, S.W., Roanoke, Virginia 24011. The estimated cost range is between $250,000- $500,000. This procurement is being solicited under FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION UNDER THE SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM. SIC code 1711. The building will be 100% occupied during the project. The successful offeror will replace retrofit chillers and associated chilled water system components, provide related management and inspection services, training of Government operation and maintenance personnel and warranties/guarantees. Due to the complexity of this project, offerors are required to meet established minimum technical criteria, including but not limited to the successful completion of at least three chiller replacement projects of similar size in the past five years, class ''A'' contractor currently licensed in the State of Virginia, and documentation of a professional engineer, registered with the State of Virginia, who can show experience within the past five years commensurate with the above requirement. Successful offeror must seal all drawings and submittal technical data for project. This announcement also constitutes synopsis of the Pre-Invitation Notice.
