The work includes demolition of concrete pavement; construction of a 4-lane road with landscaped median (Hill Boulevard); construction of a 2-lane road (Graves Avenue); storm drainage improvements; landscaping improvements; sidewalks; roadway lighting; plaza development at the flagpole; plaza development at the flight line with signage; and incidental related work. There will be a 90 day bid option for all work excluding the electrical distribution work, including street lighting. The electrical distribution work is in the base bid. Except when it is determined in accordance with FAR 17.206(b) not to be in the Government's best interests, the Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement.
