The Surveying Division of the Geographic Information Laboratory at the
U.S. Army Topographic Engineering Center (USATEC) intends to purchase
a commercially-available 1995 Chevrolet/GMC Surburban Light Truck,
Model C/K 2500, 4WD. The standard equipment must include driver's side
airbag, heavy duty battery, 4-wheel anti-lock power front disk/rear
drum brakes, dual rear panel doors, full length headliner, vinyl floor
covering, dual breakaway mirrors, dual covered power outlets, AM/FM
stereo radio, 3-passenger front bench seat, power steering,
vinyl-covered steering wheel, tachometer, SBR all-season blackwall
LT245/75R16E tires (5), two front two hooks, heavy duty 4-speed
automatic transmission, transmission oil cooler, vinyl upholstery,
intermittent wipers and 7-wire wiring harness for trailering. The
following additional equipment, as commercially available by
Chevrolet/GMC is required: tilt steering column, cruise control, skid
plate protection for fuel tank, engine, and front differential,
trailering hitch, front and rear air conditioning, rear window
defroster, 7.4 liter EFI engine, deep tinted solar ray glass and center
and rear seats. A standard manufacturer's warranty covering all engine
and drive train components must be included. Exterior color must be
single-tone white or off white or medium to dark blue. The vehicle must
be available for verification of specification conformance and delivery
within the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. This includes the
District of Columbia, Fairfax, Montgomery and Prince George's counties
and any other locality within the geographic bounds of these areas.
Required delivery is FOB Destination to USATEC 120 days after contract
award. Anticipated issue date of this solicitation is on or about 12
June 1995 with an anticipated date for receipt of bids on or about 10
July 1995. All requests for solicitation must be in writing. Requests
