65 -- AIR PURGING UNITS FOR LIQUID OXYGEN STORAGE TANKS SOL DAMD17-95-R-5036 DUE 071495 POC Contract Specialist,, Joan Wilson, (301) -619-2387, The Government requires three (3) each air purging units for purging of liquid oxygen storage tanks. The units shall have an integrated heater system to heat the air to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, plus or minus 10 degrees Fahrenheit. The units shall be equipped with a thermometer to monitor the output temperature and a temperature controller to make corresponding adjustments. The units shall include a discharge fitting assembly with a thermometer to monitor the outlet temperature of the existing Government owned Pacific Consolidated Industries, Inc. bulk storage module. The units shall be capable of delivering the air at an output flow rate of 6 pounds per minute with a positive discharge pressure not to exceed 5 psig. Each unit shall weigh no more than 1400 pounds with dimensions not exceeding 50 inches high, 55 inches wide and 80 inches long. The unit shall be equipped with a trailer system which shall include an enclosure housing for transport and storage. Delivery to the Tobyhanna Army Depot, Tobyhanna, PA 18466 within 180 calendar days after date of award. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. (0144)
