The Deputy Commander for Veterinary Service, Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii has a requirement for a networking system consisting of (6) stand-alone system, (6) servers, (22) microcomputer workstations, (6) ea RAM and hardware upgrades, (6) ea PIN parallel and laser printers, (6) ea modems and servers and all associated operating software, and specific veterinary program software. Installation shall be on two sites on the islands of Oahu, and Guam. The system shall support a wide variety of recordskeeping, inventory management workload reports, and forms. The system shall support a workload of over 30,000 privately-owned animals and over 100 government owned animals. In addition, the system shall have the ability to communicate and exchange information between sites and between Hawaii and Guam via telephone modems. The proposed solicitation contained herein is unrestricted and will be issued o/a 3 Jul 95 and to close o/a 3 Aug 95.
