A -- SYSTEM REEINGINEERING TECHNOLOGY SOL N60921-94-C-0083 POC GUENTHER BAREIHS, S21 (301) 394-3770/Contracting Officer, CELESTE M KERNER. The Dahlgren Division Detachment White Oak, Naval Surface Warfare Center, intends to non-competitively procure engineering services in support of the Systems Reeingineering Technology Task of the Engineering of Complex Systems Program. This proposed contract action is to modify a current contract to allow further development of the integrated Software Engineering Environment (SRE) and Software Engineering Environment (SEE). Tasks include demonstration, evaluation, and modifications to the SRE and SEE. Enhancements to the SRE and SEE include capabilities to use additional input computer languages, additions to facilitate automated generation of software tests and test schemes, and integration of the existing SRE with systems design, synthesis, and optimization tools developed by the ECS project. This requirement is an extension of work currently being performed by Computer Command and Control Company (CCCC). Thorough knowledge and complete understanding of systems reeingineering, the ECS program, ARPA/STARS software engineering environment, and the integrated SRE/SEE developed under ECS are required. Also familiarity with Air Vehicle Training System code, the Naval Surface Warfare Center's HiPer-D project and the computer systems involved in AEGIS will be needed. Because of the unique capabilities possessed by CCCC, this requirement, shall be procured on a sole source basis. However, all responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
