US POSTAL SERVICE CADD BASED STANDARD PLANS IN THE STATE OF TENNESSEE

(404)454-0637. Multiple contracts may be issued under this
advertisement. Each of the contracts for architect-engineer services,
with a $5,000 guaranteed amount, will be for one year with individual
work orders being used for design, document preparation & contract
administration on individual projects. Projects shall consist of site
adaptation, verification of design, assembly of drawings,
specifications, and bidding documents for CADD based standard plans and
working drawings of Post Office facilities. Projects will range between
1,000 and 50,000 net usable square feet. The estimated project
construction cost is undetermined with individual work orders being
negotiated and issued for each project. The total contract cannot
exceed $2,500,000.00. The contract is renewable for three one-year
periods. The contract is to cover the State of Tennessee, however, it
may be used occasionally within other areas of the Southeastern United
States. Firms that possess the qualifications to perform the services
described above are invited to submit two (2) copies each of completed
SF255 ``Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire for
Specific Project,'' Architect-Engineer and Related Services
Questionnaire'' for itself and SF254 for each of its proposed
consultants to the office shown above, postmarked no later than June
23, 1995. The selection will be conducted with the combined use of the
submitted SF255 and SF254s. Interested firms with more than one office
must indicate on its SF255 the staffing composition of the office in
which the work will be performedd. Firms must have a minimum of two
registered architects, have a minimum of two years Autocadd experience,
and must be able to provide the service of at least one of each of the
following disciplines (each registered in Tennessee): mechanical,
electrical, structural and civil engineering. Any of the above
engineering disciplines may be provided through outside consultant
frims. Consideration will be given to firms responding to this
advertisement in accordance with foregoing instruction in the following
order of preference: (1) Nashville, Tennessee, (2) State of Tennessee,
(3) Out of State. There is no restriction on the geographical location
of consultants. Firms must provide proof of or demonstrate the ability
to obtain errors and omissons insurance, minimum of $200,000 per
claim, with submittals (two copies). Participation of minority business
enterprises is a consideration in U. S. Postal Service
architect-engineer selections. It is prohibited to pay any fee,
commission, percentage, or brokerage fee to any person or firm
contingent upon, or resulting from, award of this contract. No other
general notification of this project will be made. Submittals will not
be retained or returned. This is not a request for proposals. Firms
are encouraged to submit required information via UNITED STATES POSTAL
