McAughan, Contract Specialist, Code S116, (703) 663-7478. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division has a requirement for maintenance on uninterrupted power supply (UPS) systems. The base maintenance period shall be from date of contract award until 30 September 1995 and then yearly maintenance shall be performed for four additional option years. The UPS units are located at Naval Space Command field stations in Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, and Building 1700 in Dahlgren, Virginia. Services to be included are two preventive maintenance visits for the UPS units. The battery plants are to receive quarterly preventive maintenance visits. The distribution units are to receive an annual visit. Extended service should allow preventive maintenance visits to be performed at the customer's convenience. All emergency labor (24 hours/7 days), parts and travel expenses to be included at no charge during the contract period. Any equipment that requires inspection for acceptance to be provided at no charge. Any deficiencies found during the acceptance inspection may be billable.
