The work includes providing all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to perform inspections, maintenance and repairs of the Exhaust Fan Systems which include: exhaust fans, demisters, scrubbers, pumps, piping, valves, insulation, heat tapes, electrical wiring, controls and other related items of equipment which are essential for proper operation of the exhaust fan system for building 195 at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Virginia. Work to be accomplished by means of a Combination Firm Fixed Price and Indefinite Quantity type contract. The contract term shall be for a period of one year. The government shall have the option to extend the term of the contract services for additional periods of one to twelve months. The total contract term, including exercise of any options, shall not exceed 60 months. Plans and specifications will be made available on or about 12 June 1995.
