Tennant, Jr., (301) 713-0823 Conduct of survey to collect participation, catch, and effort data on marine recreational fisheries of the Atlantic, Pacific, and Gulf coasts. Data collection shall be by means of on-site intercept interviews and telephone interviews. The results of the intercept interviews and the telephone interviews shall be processed to produce estimates of total catch by species and total fishing effort. Offers may be submitted for either or both of the (1) on-site intercept interview data collection, or (2) telephone interview data collection. The period of performance for the conduct of the intercept interviews and the telephone interviews shall be from January 1 through December 31, 1996 with delivery of final documentation by April 30, 1997. Options shall be included for the 1997 survey (interviews from January 1 through December 31, 1997 with delivery of final documentation by April 30, 1998 and; the 1998 survey (interviews from January 1 through December 31, 1998 with delivery of final documentation by April 30, 1999. This contract is subject to the Service Contract Act and the place of performance for work other than on-site intercept interviews is unknown. Wage determinations have been requestd for all locations at which on-site intercept interviews are to be conducted. Additionally, wage determinations have been requested for San Diego, CA, Chicago, IL, Metropolitan Washington, DC, Denver CO, Salt Lake City, UT, and Radnor PA. The Contracting Officer will request wage determinations for additional localities if asked to do so in writing by 5:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, on the fourteenth calendar day after the date of issuance of Solicitation No. 52-DGNF-5-00079. Solicitation No. 52-DGNF-5-00079 will be issued on or about June 30, 1995 and will close on or about August 31, 1995. All requests for copies of the solicitation document shall be in writing. No telephone requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. (0144)
