This requirement is for 30,000 manhours of engineering services to be added to Contract 94-C-4015 in support of the General Electric LM2500 Gas Turbine Component Improvement Program. Solicitation N00024-95-R-4162 will be issued to General Electric Company (GE), 1 Newman Way, Cincinnati, Ohio on a sole source basis, since GE is the designer and sole producer of the LM2500 and the only firm whch possesses sufficient knowledge and experience with the LM2500 to efficiently perform engineering tasks to correct service-related deficiencies and develop improved hardware and operating/maintenance/repair techniques.
