Work includes a 2,000 SF addition to an existing building. Construction will be slab on grade, brick and block walls and built up roof. The addition will include a communications vault with cast in place concrete walls and ceiling. Project also includes architectural renovation of existing building with associated changes to the plumbing, heating and air conditioning, electrical and communications system. This project is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible, but not later than 15 calendar days after publication of this notice, indicate interest in bidding as the prime or a subcontractor on the project, evidence of capacity to perform ncluding references for similar work with contract numbers, points of contact, telephone numbers and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disdvantaged business concern. Dollar amount of current bonding capacity is required. If adequate interest is not received from qualified SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Replies to this notice are requested from all interested business concerns as well as from SDB concerns. Replies must indicate the firm's size status such as large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, or 8(a). The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 1542. The applicable small business size standard including affiliates is no more than $17,000,000 average annual revenue for the previous three years. The price of this project is estimated to range between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
