The Environmental Protection Agency anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price construction contract to provide all labor, materials, equipment and services for a Contractor to demolish abandoned heating plant known as building 234, Main Boiler House and Alternate to demolish building 241. Includes in the demolition will be the removal of all asbestos insulation, seven underground and above ground storage tansk (UST and AST), and assoicated hardware and structures at the Edison New Jersey facility as specified in the specifications. The work shall be performed in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local reguations governing this construction project. The work shall be performed by persons trained, knowledgeable, licensed and qualified in demolition, asbestos removal and tank removal. The Project is estimated in the $100,000 to $250,000 range. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be ready for issuance around the 15th of June with a due date around July 15, 1995. This is not a Small Business Set-Aside. The size standard for a small business is average annual receipts for the preceding 3 fiscal years of $7,000,000.00.
