Project consists of the removal of both ballasts and light luminaries from approximately 4,200 gas discharge lights in 93 buildings located throughout Patuxent River Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, Maryland. Ballasts and luminaries will be replaced by new electronic high frequency ballasts and new luminaries appropriate to the respective fixtures. All material removed (both luminaries and ballasts) will be treated as hazardous waste and shall be delivered to Building 619, Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Please do not call for technical information based on this pre-synopsis. The estimated cost of construction is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00.
