Z -- MICELLANEOUS ROAD REPAIRS, PAVEMENT MARKINGS, AND CONCRETE WORK AT THE NAVAL UNDERSEA WARFARE CENTER (NUWC), NEWPORT, RI SOL N62472-95-D-1927 DUE 061995 POC Contact Point, MISS WEST, (401)841-2545 The Contractor shall provide and secure timely, responsive and satisfactory miscessaneous road repairs, pavement markings, concrete work and other work as indicated on work orders, complete and ready for use. The work includes the provision of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supplies and supervision for: excavation, the removal of certain bituminous concrete adn base, stripping-off existing bituminous overlay, profiling and recycling pavement, saw cutting asphalt, saw cutting concrete, resetting manholes and catch basins, curb removal. resetting curbing, and resetting wheel stops. The work further includes the provision of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supplies and supervision to provide and install new: gravel base, 4'' bituminous concrete on a new and/or dressed up gravel base, 1 1/2'' bitunimous concrete overlay, bituminous cold patching, bituminous concrete hot patching, high performance cold patching, crack and joint repairs, curbing, wheel stops, GFE curbing, GFE Wheel stops, sodding, seeding, loan, cast(in-place concrete, concrete sidewalks, bituminous sidewalks, pavement markings, and other associated work and/or materials as required and incidental related work. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100 per cent set aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) Concerns. Interested SDB concerns should as early as possible not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office above evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, this solicitation will be issued as Unrestricted without further notice.
